Optical Fiber Assembly Product
Specialist

Ideal candidate will have Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, or Optics or equivalent work experience in optical fiber assemblies. Candidate should have knowledge of multimode step-index optical fiber assembly market, connector-type designs, adhesives, assembly processes, and optical testing. Candidate should also have experience in high-power applications, medical applications, and analytical applications. Knowledge of FDA regulations as they pertain to medical devices is a positive. Must be able to interface with customers and work tradeshows. Travel will be required.
Candidate must be a team player, good communication and marketing research skills, be innovative, and self-reliant.

Affordable health care
We give our employees a choice of
Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs) or Preferred Provider
Organization (PPO). Employee premiums and co-payments are low, while
the quality of medical care is high.
Prescription maintenance
Medications are available by mail
order for both the HMO and PPO plans, in addition to the
prescription drug cards accepted at participating pharmacies.
Dental coverage
Dental coverage is offered at a
nominal cost. It provides $1,500 in preventive and restorative
services for each eligible family member annually. It also offers
$1,000 in orthodontic services for each eligible family member in
their lifetime.

Vision coverage is offered in
conjunction with medical benefits. Employees are eligible to receive
reimbursement for exams, frames, lenses or contact lenses.

accidental death and dismemberment equal to $50,000. We also cover
the full cost of short and long term disability benefits.
401K Savings Plan
The loan provision in our 401K
Savings Plan allows you to borrow up to 50% of your account balance,
then repay your own account principal plus interest.
Educational Assistance
Polymicro Technologies encourages you to achieve
your personal and professional goals for higher education through
our Educational Assistance benefit. When you achieve a grade of “C”
or better, Polymicro Technologies will reimburse you 100% of the cost of tuition
for courses taken at an approved and accredited academic
institution.
Memberships Paid by the Company
Employees who wish to become members
of professional organizations or societies may request reimbursement
of annual dues or membership fees.
